“Opportunity in Crisis” explores the possibility that lies within moments of crisis. We must see past the tempting assumption that a crisis can only mean disaster in order to discover the opportunities within. This piece is dedicated to Grace Lee Boggs, 99 year old author, activist, philosopher, and feminist. Grace has demonstrated through seven decades of movement-building, how the most devastated urban communities, like the ones where she lives in Detroit, can overcome despair through hope and creativity.
